https://www.istudy-china.com/      You get a lot of attention. When I did my student exchange at Wuhan University five years ago, any Chinese students I acquainted on a daily basis would pour questions at me about my home country-Singapore. My outgoing nature as an international student seemed to appeal to Chinese students quite a bit. Plenty of them would also want to exploit the opportunity to improve their English conversation skills with you. My birthday occurred on my last few days of stay at the university. I decided to book a restaurant to treat the entire class to dinner. It costed less than a meal I would have spent on myself here in Texas.

https://www.istudy-china.com/      My husband was only an average student in school but he became not only a 9 pointer in his college, he went on to clearing JEE(IIT-JEE), AIEEE, CAT, NDA, SSC, UPSC ESE And is now working as an IRSE officer. So, how did he study to to be able to clear some of the toughest exams in the country? He is very disciplined. We have been married for a little less than a year and in those 300 days, he woke up at the same time every day, ate at the same time, went to play badminton everyday. He showered twice a day even in winters. Washed his own clothes and kept everything in place without fail each and every single day (I am just opposite) I have never seen him snoozing alarm even if he has to go for inspection early morning or late at night. Never heard him saying “I am tired”. He loves studying. He studies still. He teaches me maths because he loves it and he wanted to change my view that maths suck(I have actually started to like maths)...

https://www.istudy-china.com/      In 1986 I went across China, from Beijing to Urumqi, Turpan, and Kashgar. On the way I stopped off in DaTong, on a mission to find an American guy who had moved there (turns out he had already left China— but that’s not relevant to the story). On the train I met a young PLA soldier who spoke pretty good English. He was traveling home for the first time in over a year, and hadn’t been in contact with his family all that time. It would have been reasonable had he simply said goodbye to me at the station and went on his way, but instead he took me to his home. His mother cried when she saw her son and rushed out to buy meat, fish and other really expensive things. This was a coal mining family, with one room, and everyone heating and sleeping on top of the one kang . (An entire row of these houses shared one outhouse— three brick walls, two bricks on the ground for squatting.) Of course I was too ignorant to be embarrassed about this...
